Biting off more than we can chew

 

What is it that drives someone to take on a task that will be too big for them to handle? Is it pride, ego, or hubris? In some cases, yes. It could also be self-destructive tendencies, ignorance, incompetence, or overexcitement. In Maya's case, it's probably a combination of hard-wiring, and overall knuckleheadedness. Good thing knuckles are hard.
